The Liberal Democrats are the leading remain party in Fylde, beating the Conservatives into third place at the European elections in May.

We want to Stop Brexit and invest the £50 billion remain bonus in public services and tackling inequality.

Mark and the Liberal Democrats would revoke article 50, to remain within the EU, if they formed the next government.

Mark added, "If there was a hung parliament the Liberal Democrats would support a peoples vote. What people need to know is what Labour would do in a hung parliament.

The Liberal Democrats made amendments 17 times for a peoples vote in the last parliament with Labour failing to support it. The fact is they want their own brand of Brexit on the ballot paper. The only deal on the table currently is Boris Johnson's deal and a peoples vote should be between the deal agreed with the EU and revoke article 50.

On health and social care the Liberal Democrats would add a penny in the pound on income tax to help fund our NHS properly. We would also invest £11bn into mental health to provide parity of urgency with physical health.

Whilst the climate emergency was not discussed on the program the Liberal Democrats have ambitious plans to tackle it by generating 80% of electricity from renewables by 2030 and insulating low income homes by 2025.
